Paw Print Genetics merges with Orivet
Pawprint/Neogen is now Orivet and is the only lab whose results are recognized by ISCA for PRA/CLAD .
Paw Print Genetics meets the desired standards & guidelines in that they test each mutation region twice with two independent methods which allows them to provide the highest accuracy in the industry. They understand that accuracy matters and take those extra steps to ensure highly accurate results.
It’s important to transfer your data/ testing to an Origen account BEFORE the end of May 2025
Directions are clearly listed but there’s an email and phone number if you have questions!
Exciting News for Paw Print Genetics Clients: A Bold Step Forward in Genetic Testing!
Here is the letter ISCA received regarding the merger:
Dear Valued Client,
We are thrilled to share an exciting milestone for the Paw Print Genetics (PPG) family! As we step into 2025, PPG, a leader in canine genetic health, has formed a strategic partnership with Orivet, an industry pioneer serving breeders for over 15 years. This partnership is designed to provide you with an enhanced customer experience while maintaining the scientific excellence and accuracy you rely on.
Why This Transition?
PPG was founded on two core principles: providing a comprehensive menu of accurate genetic tests and offering a concierge level of customer service. Since our acquisition by Neogen in 2021, we have been able to provide financial benefits like bundled pricing but maintaining the personalized service that defines PPG has been a challenge.
To refocus on our clients and uphold our high standards, PPG is merging with Orivet. This collaboration brings together PPG’s scientific expertise with Orivet’s innovative technology, user-friendly interface, and premium customer service. The result? A more efficient, smoother experience for you.
Who is Orivet?
Founded by George Sofronidis and Dr. Noam Pik, Orivet is a global leader in genetic testing with a mission to safeguard animal health through breed-specific, personalized care. With a strong reputation in the breeder community, Orivet offers cutting-edge tools designed to enhance genetic testing and responsible breeding practices.
